Mall Together player stats: where everyone actually is
Steam publishes the percentage of players who unlocked each achievement. Mall Together’s achievements include a ladder of mall-level milestones (level 5 through 25), so the public numbers double as a measured progression curve — not a guess, not a poll. Snapshot: 2026-07-28, page updated July 28, 2026.
The mall-level ladder
| Milestone | Players past it | In-game requirement | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Level 5 | 85.4% | “Reach level 5” | |
| Level 10 | 67.9% | “Reach level 10” | |
| Level 15 | 49.9% | “Reach level 15” | |
| Expansion | 43.5% | “Expand your store” | |
| Level 20 | 34.9% | “Reach level 20” | |
| Level 25 | 22.6% | “Reach level 25” |
What the curve says right now
- Fewer than a quarter of players have hit the achievement ceiling. 22.6% have reached level 25 — the last level Steam tracks. Days after launch these numbers partly measure playtime rather than difficulty, and they will drift up; that’s why this page re-pulls the data instead of freezing a hot take.
- Each five-level step is a steeper grind than the last. 80% survive level 5 → 10, 73% survive level 10 → 15, 70% survive level 15 → 20, 65% survive level 20 → 25. The conversion rate falls every step — leveling visibly slows down as the mall grows.
- Malls expand somewhere between level 15 and level 20. 43.5% of players have bought the expansion — a figure that sits between the level-15 crowd (49.9%) and the level-20 crowd (34.9%). If you’re saving up for it, that’s the window most players pull the trigger.
- The achievements stop at level 25 — the game does not. Shop contracts we’ve verified in-game demand far higher levels (a Household Appliances contract asks for level 61, a later one level 77). The real endgame runs roughly three times deeper than the achievement ladder suggests. Contract requirements are tracked on the shops page as we pin them down.
First-day milestones
| Achievement | Unlocked by | In-game requirement | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mall Name | 98.8% | “Name your mall” | |
| Contract | 97.5% | “Sign a new contract” | |
| Open | 97.3% | “Open the mall” | |
| First Order | 97.2% | “Make an order” | |
| Set Price | 96.9% | “Set a price for the product” | |
| Workers | 96.2% | “Hire a worker” | |
| First Day | 94.3% | “Complete a day in your mall” | |
| First Checkout | 88.9% | “Complete the first checkout” |
- About 5 in 100 players finish their first day without ever ringing the register. 94.3% completed a day, but only 88.9% have done a checkout themselves — hired cashiers and co-op partners can cover the till entirely.
- Pricing is a day-one decision for nearly everyone. 96.9% of players have set a price by hand. If you’re about to, the price calculator and the pricing guide cover what’s verified about going above the recommended price.
Methodology
Percentages come from Steam’s public global achievement stats for app 4668890 (the same numbers shown on the Steam community page), refreshed from the official Steam Web API — they cover Mall Together (2026) by Business Tycoon, not Mall Simulator Together. Steam rounds to one decimal; interpretation beyond the numbers (like the level-61/77 contract requirements) follows the same sourcing rules as the rest of the site — see Sources & About.
